Please make sure to check out singer/songwriter Rebecca Martin's new album "The Growing Season" released on Sunnyside Records. The album was produced by Kurt, and he is also playing guitar, organ and a variety of other instruments on the album alongside Larry Grenadier on bass and Brian Blade on drums! Rebecca and Kurt have a long and fruitful creative relationship, having first toured, performed and recorded together in the mid-90ties in the band Once Blue. Hi everyone, Kurt here, just wanted to let you all know how elated i am about the release of Q-Tip's new album called "The Renassaince". I have been working on it with him for the last 6 years and I can hardly believe that it's finally out. All the record company drama was insane. This is a great album, check the rhyme people!

Kurt's new album "The Remedy" is finally here!
We are very pleased to announce that Kurt Rosenwinkel's new album entitled "The Remedy - Live At The Village Vanguard" is finally here! The album features 8 songs and over 120 minutes of music. There is 6 all-new songs by Kurt Rosenwinkel, 2 re-workings of previously released songs (one by Kurt and one by Mark Turner). The band features a stellar cast of Mark Turner (sax), Aaron Goldberg (pia), Joe Martin (b) & Eric Harland (dr).
Once you've become a participant, the Artistshare website also allows you to watch a 40 minute long interview (conducted at the Village Vanguard) with Kurt about "The Remedy". You can also listen to radio interviews and watch other footage.

Kurt Rosenwinkel book out on Mel Bay Publications
Mel Bay Publications has just released a new book of Kurt Rosenwinkel solos & compositions. About half of the material (and all the solo transcriptions) are from "Deep Song" (Brooklyn Sometimes, Cake, The Cloister, The Cross, Gesture (Lester), Synthetics, Use Of Light) whereas the 2nd half are from "The Next Step" and "Enemies Of Energy".
