Always had a problem with hammer ons and pull offs. Started using the grip master, and I am amazed at the results. No f-ing joke. Try it out.

I used to do an exercise in a Steve Vai lesson somewhere to improve my legato technique.
Just hammer-on/pull off with each combination of 2 (1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-3, 2-4, 3-4) fingers for 1 full minute. Do it slowly, even and strong. After a while your fingers, especially your weaker ones, get a lot stronger.
