Thanks for the link , sandemose. I'm listening to the interview on an iPad ( so that could be changing things ) and listening to the song that ends around 39:00 (and other songs too ),have a real bright size life vibe to me.

Update: A friend of mine lended me the album and I have been listening to it for the last few weeks. His clean tone is quite different from his previous records but still far from Kurt which is good - his OD tone is great and also quite different from Kurt's. I think what gets him close to Kurt on this record is he is using much more legatto and Mark Turner... He is going on a new route but despite what I assumed from Youtube videos he is still keeping his own voice.
I still like his first two records more and don't know why I am not a big fan of Mark's playing in this record (which is weird because I am such a big fan of his solos usually). But this is still a great record by Gilad - he will be one of the greats allong with Lage Lund
