East Coast Love Affair Settings

  1. Hey everyone,

I bought the mel-bay book of transcriptions from east coast love affair. It says on the inside that kurt used a lexicon lxp-1, a rat, and an echo pro delay with a polytone minibrute III and a 335. I have all these components and i've been messing around with it, but i can't seem to get anything close to what kurt got. I do have a 175, not a 335, but i feel like it shouldn't make as much of a difference as it does. I also have a minibrute II, not III. Anyone have any ideas on what the pedal settings were? Which delays? etc...

  2. Also I don't mean to sound too lame, I'm not doing this because i want to copy kurt, but I think it's a good exercise to get inside a player's sound, lines and feel, if you want to understand his music
