Clearly, they are both masters. It's really nice to get a chance to see this up close in a non drum clinic way full of split screen stuff- just two dudes and a camera like 6 feet away. What I really dig is this perceived duality ( which is probably something obvious to drummers) that goes between what feels to me like a new orleans shuffle ¿ !' back line or frontline ' ?( ... maybe that's not even the term for this) and ( and I mean this in the most superlative sense of the term ) square straight eighths thing where everything feels to be stated in the slowest biggest way possible and with clear ' diction ' .
