i'm looking for a new pair of headphones. i was using the cheapo sony "studio monitor" (mdr-v150) headphones until i stepped on them and broke em. looking for something for every day listening use, including walking around in pretty harsh winter weather. not TOO big so that they look stupid around my neck. and must be comfortable. those headphones i had hurt my ears after a while wearing them. any recommendations?

Memberi recently got a pair of the sony mdr-v500's and like them a lot. they aren't too expensive and they sound really good
