Does anyone have any information on the Jazz Institute of Berlin, where Kurt allegedly teaches? I'm specifically interested in the Master of Music program. I've heard in an interview Kurt talking about his position there, and he mentioned that people that get in are awarded full scholarships. Does anyone know anything about this? Also, do they offer bilingual education (in other words - I don't speak a word of German, could I still go there?)

I'm in junior right now, and I'm starting to think about masters programs in jazz, and Kurt talking about Berlin just struck an interest for me. I mean it's probably a long shot, but I certainly would like to find out more about it. Thanks in advance to anyone who can tell me anything about it.

    it is said :
"Is it necessary to know German to begin studies?
Foreign students are required to prove they have sufficient knowledge of the German language, at least at the level of the central intermediate examination (Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung - ZMP) of the Goethe Institute or the “Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache – Niveaustufe 4” of the TestDaF Institute. At the entrance examinations, a certificate of the Goethe Institute’s central intermediate examination or of the TestDaF Institutes TestDaF Level 4 or an equivalent language examination must be submitted.
If no certificate is produced, matriculation is restricted to two semesters; during this time the student must prove that he has passed an appropriate language examination."
