    Did somebody noticed this quote of this website : "In the summer of 2012 Kurt will join John Scofield‘s new “Hollowbody Band” (alongside Peter Bernstein, Ben Street & Bill Stewart) project for what’s projected to be a tour of Europe" ?
    That's incredible ! I hope there will be some french concerts of this 3 guitar band (as I live in France !). Jazz à Vienne, Strasbourg, Sunside/Sunset ???

    "The Hollowbodies project offers Scofield the chance to play with two of today's great guitarists, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Peter Bernstein, joined by Bill Stewart on drums and Ben Street on bass. The guitar has a huge tonal pallet and the Hollowbodies employ that pallet times three featuring Scofield’s arrangements for the ensemble and the orchestral possibilities of guitars, bass violin and percussion. It's a big band! The music is neither through-composed or a hot licks contest! Improvisation is the key ingredient as always and the real magic comes in the interplay."

    I also noticed that - those must be three of my favtorite players and they are very different from each other... I hope it's as good as it promises to be.
