Hi, as I am fan of both, someone knows which is the view that kurt has about Jim?

Im pretty sure he looks at him as a signifigant influence.....i dont know for sure but i think they may have even played together at one point...?

Kurt played on the same bill with Jim Hall a few years ago in San Francisco as part of the Jazz Festival there.

I liked to be in this festival in San Francisco, magic moments i suposse.
The cd with Chris cheek (i wish i knew, by the way, beautifull playing and music ) has the mood of Desmond´s Recordings, I think.
I hope that Kurt should come to the Argentinian in 2010, I had the ticket in the first line

jim hall is so bloody cool .. his lines are so refined and boiled down to the essence, not just like meaningless patterns
