I love Julian's sound. So it's huge and full, yet never boomy, and his articulation is always clear and crisp, yet never shrill or overbearing. Not to mention his ideas are always so concise and playful. Nels is great, too. He's not usually my cup of tea, but he's still a great player.
Beautiful. When Lage takes over at around 3:00 breakes me to pieces. So free. Wonder if Lage is headed for the mainstream side-gig as Cline? Doubtful.
