The first time I heard "Welcome Home", it reminded me a lot of "Aja". That 1979 Steve Gadd drum sound, those conventions, and especially Gadd's solo at the end. I was happy because the whole atmosphere was there, something that is not seen in jazz these days. It was like a picture of another era perfectly characterized. Do you feel that to?
Congratulations to Kurt and this wonderful band!
