    Hi,

I am sure it is nothing new at this forum, but I would like to share my favorite youtube clip I have been enjoying recently. There is a whole bunch of clips in exceptionally HQ from this amazing concert of David Sanchez Quartet in Germany:

note the incredible dynamic control between voices, particularly between the comping and the melody (i only found out how hard this was when i transcribed it but still sounded nothing like him...)

It could be a really long long list for me : ). Probabilly not all the tunes are recent but i still enjoy all of them.

    1) This is a song i really love. The Pat's solo is marvellous, melodic and really touching. The tune is simple but amazing.

    2) A nice version of Falling Grace, from Pat and Ulf Wakenius:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6lwfdvzY-U

    3) Autumn Leaves with the great Michael Brecker and a burning solo from Adam Rogers:

    4) Jonathan Kreisberg - Autumn in New York:

    5) Brian Blade and a younger Kurt Rosenwikel with a touching tune and great solo ( as usual but i really enjoy this one ):

    6) The great Wes in a Nica's Dream version:

I love this video of Joe Henderson playing Desafinado with Antonio Carlos Jobim. What Joe plays is just so beautiful, elegant, swinging, so personal...it just doesn't get any better than this (to me): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJIL9PnNeBo
